FULL DESCRIPTION: The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations of All Source Co., ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves managing the accounting team, preparing financial reports, and developing strategies to improve financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure financial stability.
- Ensure banking entries are completed timely by the team
- Quarterly/Annual Schedule preparation for review/audit as applicable
- Complete ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.
The selected candidate will also possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary Range: $115k-$130k/yr
