Accounting Assistant - TalentZok

Immediate opening for an Accounting Assistant for our client located in Escondido, CA who possess:
- 3+ years accounting experience (AP + AR, collections, billing, invoicing, 2/3 way matching)
- 1-3 years of experience in an office administrative position (Preferred)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar

FULL DESCRIPTION: Performs administrative services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, policies and monitoring administrative projects.
The selected candidate will further possess:
- Reporting skills, administrative writing skills, Microsoft office skills, organization, analyzing information, professionalism, problem solving, supply management, inventory control, and verbal communication.
- Computer skills - including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), QuickBooks and Internet Explorer/Google Chrome
- Basic accounting functions AP/AR, account reconciliations, payroll and taxes
- Customer service/customer relation skills
- Professional telephone presence
- Strong written communication skills and excellent grammar
- Work with little and/or no supervision
- Multi-task and work well under high pressure situations
- Self-sufficient and able to effectively solve problems
- Team player, fast learner organized, self-driven and self-motivated
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Customer Estimates/Invoices
- Collections
- Bank Deposits/Reconciliations
- Sales Tax
- Telephone
- Inventory
- Commissions
- Sales Reports
- Shipping/Receiving
Pay $20 to $24 Hr. DOE
